Soumya Kanti Mahapatra is a Ph.D. graduate from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, specializing in continuum robot modeling and control. His research focused on robotic grippers and solving complex inverse problems. Soumya’s expertise spans robotic manipulation in constrained environments, obstacle-aware path planning, inverse kinematics, and the integration of machine learning with classical robotics. With a strong foundation in both theoretical modeling and practical implementation, he drives innovation in space robotics, satellite servicing, and Active Debris Removal (ADR) technology.
